Release Notes

Summary

This release brings a mix of new functionality, performance enhancements, and usability fixes. A dedicated Tack module and swipeable calendar improve daily workflows, while bundle size reductions and smarter polyfill loading speed up the app. Several UI tweaks—such as transport instructions on horse profiles and clearer error messages—make the experience more intuitive and reliable.

Highlights

  • New Tack module with room, detail and maintenance screens
  • Reduced startup bundle size by ~30% by replacing jsonwebtoken with jwt-decode
  • Swipeable calendar with sheet‑style modals and day overview
  • Facility bookings now default to the facility’s minimum reservation time
  • Transport instructions displayed alongside notes and warnings on horse profiles
  • Faster order print exports by loading list endpoints instead of individual details

Features

  • New Tack module with room, detail and maintenance screens Provides a dedicated tack management area, including a paginated tack list, searchable across all pages, and maintenance screens visible to BP users.

  • Product videos now play above help panels Help pages can include a video that appears in a modal above the help content, loading only when the user presses play.

  • Swipeable calendar with sheet‑style modals and performance upgrades Calendar now supports finger swipes between periods, sheet‑like modals, a day overview, and faster rendering of planning data.

  • Company website displayed in company info Shows the website link below the phone number with an action to open it in a new tab.

  • Manure menu available for BP organisations BP admins can now access manure management pages directly from the Horses menu.

  • Facility bookings default to the facility’s minimum reservation time When creating a booking, the duration automatically matches the configured minimum, preventing accidental hour‑long blocks.

  • Clock icon indicates assumed‑pregnant breeding plans Visually distinguishes plans marked pregnant by time calculation with a tooltip explaining the status.

Improvements

  • Contact merge and invoice creation enhanced Merges duplicate contacts in a single request and adds warnings for invoices that were created but not sent, streamlining data management.

  • Transport instructions displayed alongside notes and warnings on horse profiles Adds a dedicated transport‑instruction callout with individual edit and delete actions, placed next to existing note and warning callouts.

  • Order search now ranked by relevance and breeding‑plan status updates fixed Search results prioritize exact matches, and breeding‑plan status changes are now correctly confirmed without requiring orders.

  • Various UI and data enhancements from latest OpenAPI update Adds contact form‑of‑address fields, invoice failure reasons, billable item quantity handling, and related UI tweaks.

Fixes

  • Reservation end dates are now saved correctly The end date entered in the Reservations form is stored, allowing multi‑day bookings to be recorded accurately.

  • File openings on mobile now preserve their extensions Improved filename handling ensures the correct file type is recognized when opening downloads on mobile devices.

  • Stable filter selection now persists across navigation The chosen stable is remembered for the session and applied to the action list, improving workflow consistency.

  • Line breaks preserved in horse warnings and notes Multi‑line text in warnings and notes retains its formatting across profile, details, and modal views.

  • Bulk update errors for care defaults are now shown When applying care defaults to all horses fails, the modal stays open and displays the error instead of silently closing.

  • Hidden insemination stations remain selectable in breeding‑plan edits The current station is included in the options list even if it’s hidden, preventing accidental data loss.

  • Snelstart external provider ID hidden on VAT percentages Removes the Snelstart column and field where it isn’t used, simplifying the VAT percentages interface.

  • User avatars now appear in contact search Contact picker displays initials for user contacts, ensuring every option has an avatar.

  • Exact sales journal saved to the primary company Configure modal now updates the correct record, persisting the sales journal ID.

  • Clear network‑error message when the server can’t be reached Shows a user‑friendly message instead of browser‑specific errors for offline or connectivity issues.

  • Insemination route export text clarified Updated modal description and no‑result messages to explain that leaving the inseminator field empty exports routes for all inseminators.

  • Feed quantities accept decimal commas Both ‘1,5’ and ‘1.5’ are now valid, improving data entry for feed amounts and prices.

Performance

  • Faster order print exports by loading list endpoints instead of individual details Print pages now request data in bulk using filtered list endpoints, reducing network calls and showing correct order counts, especially for shipping slips.

  • Reduced startup bundle size by ~30% by replacing jsonwebtoken with jwt-decode Swaps the heavyweight JWT library for a tiny decoder, cutting total JavaScript size and improving load times, especially on mobile.

  • Only required core‑js polyfills are loaded Modern‑only build detects needed polyfills at compile time, shrinking the main chunk and speeding up the app.

Other

  • Android builds now run sequentially via shared resource group CI configuration ensures Android builds execute one after another to prevent runner stalls.

  • Sourcemap uploads target correct Bugsink project slugs Builds now upload sourcemaps to the appropriate Bugsink project, fixing deployment errors.

  • Peer dependency flags updated in package‑lock Ensures package‑lock reflects correct peer flag settings.
