Semen inventory
This page lists the amount of semen you have in stock for each stallion, split into fresh portions and frozen straws.
What's on this page
- Has Stock: button group to filter between stallions that currently have usable semen (In stock) and those without any (Out of stock). The group defaults to In stock.
- Search stallion...: search box that finds a stallion by name, UELN, chip number or nickname.
- Stallion: column shows the formal name of each stallion (bloodline suffix included). On small screens the name appears at the top of each row.
- Portions fresh: column shows the number of fresh portions available for that stallion.
- Straws frozen: column shows the number of frozen straws available for that stallion.
- On mobile devices the three columns are collapsed into a single row; the stallion name is shown first, followed by the two stock numbers.
Common tasks
Find the stock for a specific stallion
- Use the Search stallion... box, type part of the name or registration and pick the stallion from the list.
- The row for that stallion appears with its Portions fresh and Straws frozen numbers.
- Tap the row to open the detailed inventory page if you need more information.
Show only stallions that have semen available
- Click In stock in the Has Stock filter (it is selected by default).
- The table now lists only stallions with at least one fresh portion or one frozen straw.
- Switch to Out of stock to see stallions with no available semen.
Check the totals for all stallions
- Look at the Portions fresh and Straws frozen columns; each number is the total for that stallion.
- Note or export the figures for ordering or reporting.
Good to know
- Only stallions that have a breeding product set up appear in this list; other stallions are omitted.
- The numbers shown are the available counts, not the total collected counts.
- The Has Stock filter defaults to “In stock” and is stored in the URL, so you can bookmark a filtered view.
- On very small screens the layout changes to a compact row, but the same information remains visible.
