Mare cycle check

This page shows the details of a single mare cycle check. Use it when you need to review, edit, or delete a pregnancy check for a mare.

What's on this page

• General: overview with date, mare (link), owners (if any), stallion (link), agent/insemination‑station (link), pregnancy status, uterus, uterus fluid, cervix, and any note.
• Eggs: table of located eggs showing location, size (cm), hardness, and state; if none, a 'No eggs were located.' message is shown.
• Cysts: visual map of cysts in the uterus; if none, a 'No cysts were located.' message is shown.

Common tasks

Edit a mare cycle check

1. Press the Edit button (pencil icon) in the top‑right actions bar.
2. Make the desired changes in the edit modal and press Save.
3. The page refreshes with the updated information.

Remove a mare cycle check

1. Press the Remove button (trash icon) in the top‑right actions bar.
2. In the confirmation dialog, click Remove to confirm or Cancel to abort.
3. After removal you are returned to the Mare cycle check list.

Open related horse or contact details

1. Click the mare’s name (or the stallion’s name) in the General section to open its horse details.
2. Click the name in Agent / Insemination‑station to view the contact.
3. Use the back button or navigation breadcrumbs to return.

Good to know

• The Edit and Remove buttons appear only if you have permission to manage mare cycle checks.
• The owners box is shown only when the mare has one or more owners; otherwise it is omitted.
• The egg table and cyst map are displayed only when eggs or cysts exist; otherwise a 'No … were located.' message is shown.
• The note is rendered as formatted text; if empty nothing is displayed.
