Contacts

The Contacts page lists every contact in the organisation – customers, suppliers, owners, staff and stations – and provides tools to filter, search, sort, create, export and manage duplicates.

What's on this page

  • Filter button: opens a dialog where you can narrow contacts by Type (Business/Personal), Deleted (Yes/No), Country, Roles, and – if the breeding module is active – Semen collection station and Insemination station.
  • Search field (placeholder Search by name, email, etc...): type any text to find contacts by name, email, phone, address, etc.
  • Create new button: visible only when you have permission to manage contacts; opens a form to add a new contact.
  • Export button: appears only on desktop screens; downloads the currently displayed contacts as an Excel file.
  • View duplicates button: shows a badge with the number of duplicate groups (if any) and opens the duplicate‑management view.
  • Contact list table: columns Name, Contact, Address; tap a column header to sort the list.
  • Pull‑to‑refresh: pull down the list to reload the data.
  • Infinite scroll: more contacts load automatically as you scroll down.

Common tasks

Create a new contact

  1. Tap Create new (plus icon) at the top right.
  2. Fill in the contact’s details in the form that opens.
  3. Press Save to store the new contact.

Find a contact

  1. Use the Filter button to set criteria (e.g., Type, Country) and tap Apply filter, or type a term in the search field.
  2. The list updates; you can also sort by tapping the Name, Contact or Address column header.

Export contacts

  1. On a desktop, tap Export in the filter bar.
  2. An Excel file with the displayed contacts is downloaded.

Good to know

  • The Export button is only shown on larger screens; on mobile you need to request an export another way.
  • The Semen collection station and Insemination station filters appear only when your organisation uses the breeding module.
  • The Deleted filter lets you show or hide contacts marked as removed.
  • Only a portion of contacts loads initially; scroll down to load more.
