Care
The Care page shows each horse’s most recent and next scheduled care tasks (farrier, deworming, vaccinations, etc.) so you can monitor health and plan new care.
What's on this page
- Care: a table with one row per horse; the left side shows the horse name, usage badges and an Inactive label if the horse is hidden. Columns on the right represent each Care activity type and display the last‑done date, a plus icon for no record, a warning icon for unmarked entries, and labels for Planned for today, Next date or Overdue.
- Filter: opens a dialog where you can filter horses by category, group, gender, age, location, inactive status and stable (if you have more than one). A badge shows the number of active filters.
- Search: the field with placeholder ‘Search by Name, UELN or Chipnr...’ lets you find a horse by name, UELN or chip number.
Common tasks
View the last and next care dates for a horse
- Locate the horse’s row in the table.
- Look under the relevant care‑activity column; the displayed date is the last time the task was done.
- A red warning triangle means the activity wasn’t marked as done; labels indicate Planned for today, Next date or Overdue.
Mark a care activity as finished
- Tap a cell that shows a warning triangle.
- In the floating card that opens, press Mark as finished.
- The table updates with the new completion date.
Plan a new care activity
- Tap an empty cell (plus icon) or any cell where you want to schedule a task.
- In the floating card, press Plan.
- The Plan care activity modal appears; choose date, time and notes, then press Save.
- The new activity shows as a Next label in the table.
Good to know
- Only care activity types that belong to the Care category and are not hidden appear as columns.
- The table initially loads only active horses (those with a stable). After you apply any filter, all horses—including inactive ones—are fetched, which may cause a brief loading indicator.
- The Inactive label and the “Show inactive” filter appear only if you have permission to view hidden horses.
- The Mark as finished and Plan buttons in the floating card are visible only when you have rights to edit activities.
