Breeding plans

This page shows all breeding plans for your mares, with tools to filter by year, mare, stallion, usage type, and more, and to add new plans or export the list.

What's on this page

• Year: buttons for each year; click to filter the list, hold Shift to select multiple years.
• Filters: the filter button opens a menu where you can limit breeding plans by Usage type, Semen type, Status, Domestic / Abroad, Agent / Insemination‑station, Customer, Mare, Stallion. The search box also finds plans by number, customer, horse or agent.
• Export: the Export button (Excel icon) downloads the currently displayed rows as an .xlsx file.
• Add breeding plan: the Add breeding plan button (top‑right) opens a form to create a new breeding plan.
• Breeding plans table: displays the filtered plans with columns Mare (Biological), Carrier mare, Number, Usage type, Stallion, Semen type, Last insemination date, Status. On narrow screens the table collapses to a compact row view.

Common tasks

Add a new breeding plan

1. Tap the Add breeding plan button.
2. Fill the required fields (e.g. Year, Mare, Usage type, Stallion, Semen type) and press Save.
3. The new plan appears in the list; tap its row to open the details.

Find breeding plans for specific years or criteria

1. Click a Year button; hold Shift and click other years to select several seasons.
2. Open the Filters button or use the Search box to choose criteria such as Usage type, Status, Customer, Mare, Stallion, then apply.
3. The table updates to show only matching plans.

Export the displayed list

1. Adjust filters as needed.
2. Click the Export button (Excel icon) in the filter bar.
3. An breeding_plans.xlsx file is downloaded containing the visible columns and selected years.

Good to know

• The Add breeding plan button is shown only if you have permission to manage horses.
• The Export button always respects the current filters and selected years.
• On mobile devices some columns are hidden; the same information is shown in a compact row layout.
• If no plans match, a message “No breeding plans found for the selected years” is displayed.
