Getting started

This guide is for stable owners or managers who are new to EquiApp. By following it you will have your organisation, users, contacts, horses and the main modules ready to use.

Set up your organisation

Create your stable’s basic data – name, timezone, stables, pastures and holidays. All other pages rely on this information. Do this in the Organization admin hub.

Invite your staff and assign roles

Invite your employees, give them login access and assign one or more roles that define their permissions. Manage this on the Users page.

Add your contacts

Enter owners, customers, suppliers and other people you work with. Use the Contacts page to create and manage them.

Add horses and define horse settings

Create each horse and assign its stable and owners using the Horse list page. After your horses are in the system, define organisation‑wide defaults such as groups, care defaults and vaccination rules on the horse settings page.

Configure activities (optional)

If you want to plan training, vet visits or breeding checks, set up activity types, day parts and calendar feeds. Do this in the Activities section.

Set up feeding (optional)

First define feed types and feeding times in the feed Settings, then assign feeds to horses in the feeding schedule. Start with the Feeding page.

Set up financial administration (optional)

Enter your company details, VAT rates and pricing, then create invoices and record payments. Use the Financial administration area to do this.

Good to know

  • Click the question‑mark next to any page title for instant help and start a chat with support.
  • Changes to roles, permissions or organisation data only become active after you click Save on the respective page.
  • Modules appear automatically once they are part of your EquiApp subscription; you don’t enable them in Settings.
