Ownership

The tile shows each Contact that owns a share of the horse, the Percentage of ownership, and the Since date.

Reading the Ownership

  • Contact: name of the owner, or 'Unknown contact' if the contact is not in your contacts list.
  • Percentage: share of ownership, shown as a whole number followed by %.
  • Since: date the owner began owning the horse; a dash means no date is set.
  • ⋮ button: opens a menu with Edit and Remove for that owner.
  • If no owners are defined, a gray italic message says 'There are currently no horse owners.'

  1. Click the Add button at the top‑right of the tile.
  2. In the Add horse owner form, select a Contact, enter the Percentage, and set the Owner since date.
  3. Press Save.

  1. Click the ⋮ button for the owner you want to change.
  2. Choose Edit.
  3. Update the fields in the Edit horse owner form and click Save.

  • Owners are loaded from your organisation when you open the horse’s details.

Add/Edit horse owner

Use this form to add a new owner to a horse or edit an existing owner.

Contact

  • Choose a contact (required). Type to filter; if no match, click Create new contact to add a new contact on the spot.

Percentage

  • Enter the ownership share (e.g., 100 for full ownership). Leave empty if you don't want to specify a share.

Owner since

  • Pick the date the ownership started (required). For a new owner the field defaults to today; for editing it shows the current start date.

After saving

  • The owner appears in the horse's Ownership section. Any new contact is added to your contacts list. The modal closes and you return to the horse details screen.
